— Founder Letter —

Early in my life, I discovered a love for children and I studied Child Minding & Child Psychology, I was trained in the Montessori Preschool system and 18 years later I opened a center for toddlers and preschoolers in HK in the early 90's.

I moved to Vietnam in 2007. I was immediately involved in helping to set up a center and counseling services for victims of human trafficking. I saw that sadly many children did not have the opportunity to learn. It was my hearts’ desire to teach them, so I started an English club in coffee shops and later opened an English Centre.

In 2018, I was connected to an international school curriculum provider who had the intention to expand into the Vietnamese market. It is the IGCSE Cambridge O-level certificate which I grew up with in Singapore during my early years of education. Gracelight Academy was born in September 2019! Today, I am ready to take it to the next level.
